Peggy Gou在首尔长大，18岁就读于伦敦时装学院。每个周末，她会泡在Plastic People俱乐部或Corsica Studios跳舞。有一天，Soho区某俱乐部的推广人看到她在Facebook上的照片，问她要不要试试打碟。那时候，Peggy已经从韩国老家的朋友那里学会了基本的节拍，于是开始在东伦敦的The Book Club作为驻留艺术家表演，并用空余时间自学音频软件。
她融合了pulsing house、techno、broken beats，加入抽象的舞曲编曲，悦动而明亮；许多唱段中使用韩文，更添东方韵味。一旦放上她的歌，人们的脸上总会不由自主地浮现出笑容，并开始摇摆身体，让专辑一直循环下去
从首尔、伦敦到柏林，聚光灯下的Peggy Gou自如游走于电子乐与时尚界之间。
